Since its inception in the 1970 the journal has evolv from a general interest magazine to an internationally known peer-review science journal. This evolution ponders the changing mission of the National Institute forward Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) from a general design alcohol agency to an internationally think highly ofed research Institute. It also muses the changing nature of the alcohol field and the growing ne for science-based information to better understand and improve our ability to interrupt treat, and reduce the question s associated with alcohol abuse and alcoholism.
