40 Years Ago--1964

Our secrete reflected Navy deep water engineers exploring the Antarctic. Inside, we focused forward the Navy's advancements in undersea extricate and recovery. We also featured stories forward the Navy skeet shooting team and we exhausted time in Washington D.C. with the Navy's ceremonial guardsmen. The All-Navy sports roundup was also included in this issue.

26 Years Ago--1978

The hide of this issue of All Hands showed couple women from the sister cities of Guinea-Bissau in West Africa. USS Valdez was the first American warship to visit the cities. There was also a feature onward Joy Bright, Director of the WAVES (Women Accepted for offer Emergency Service). We also outlined the rights and benefits for Navy families and spotlighted the Navy's of great depth submergence rescue vehicle (DSRV)



18 Years Ago--1986

Members of the Navy's with a long face Angels were featured on the shroud of this All Hands issue. They were just single in kind part of the 1986 Armed Forces Day make open House celebration feature. This month also featured stories about the Navy Enlisted Personnel Individualized Career scheme This program combined shipboard experience and structur technical training, which helped to replace near traditional classroom learning for first space of time enlisted Sailors. Also featured in this issue were articles about the dangers of tattoos and safety and survivability.
