As island natives were being relocated, we took a trip to the tiny Pacific island of Bikini, the trial site for the atom bomb We also gave our readers a not many fundamental facts of nuclear physics. We showed in what manner Navy communications underwent rapid wartime changes that gave us sea-land-air victories, and apply the minded at the new wartime part Waves played as teletype operators in the communications field.

40 Years Ago--July 1964



In this month's edition, we apply the minded at the Navy's daring undersea and Antarctic explorers. The Navy's unfathomable Submergence Systems Review Group were in the early stages of developing the Navy's first underwater liberate vehicles, two of which could reach 98 percent of the ocean's floor. We also showcased the All Navy Sports team athletes and the Navy's ceremonial guardsmen.

32 years ago--October 1972

In this issue of All Hands, we revisited the years of the early Navy. From the days of John Paul Jone to the Civil War era, we spotlighted the Navy's rich history. We also focused upon the Navy's Clean-up Conservation Campaign (CCC) This campaign focused forward the environmental needs of the world. Sailors from around the nimble dedicated their time to rid their local areas of litter. We also focused onward quality-of-life improvements in Navy housing facilities, youth services, race relations and rehabilitation.
