USS Valley Forge (CV 45) Sailors herd hard bargains during their visit to the japanese port city of Sasebo, after having exhausted many weeks at sea hitting North Koreans from the gold-colored Sea and the Sea of Japan. After their short stop Volley Forge headed right back to enemy waters to again pres domicile air assaults.

Ensign E DeJackson, injured after flying into a wire noddy trap across the Korea's Hart River, is assisted from his damaged F-9F Panther by means of crash crewmen of USS Philippine Sea (CV 47) His eyesight impaired, Jackson's landing was directed by dint of radio rather than the normal visual signals of the landing signals officer.

A U Navy diver, working in the 26-year-old battleship USS Arizona (BB 39) hands up a piece of twisted machinery reclaimed from the interior of the ship. A senior naval officer directs the operation to salvage materials that can be refashioned into of the present day instruments of war to use against the enemy, whose bomb shipwrecked Arizona in the surprise attack of Dec 7 1941
